The Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano Welcomes the Académie des savoir-faire by the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès

The Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano has been chosen by the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès and inserted in the program, which will extend to various European locations, to host the opening of the seventh edition of the Académie des savoir-faire, this year dedicated to the theme of paper and led by renowned designer Constance Guisset. During the two days spent in Fabriano the academicians had the opportunity to delve into the history and excellence of paper preserved by the Foundation.
The itinerary included an exclusive lecture by Chairwoman Chiara Medioli-Fedrigoni on modern papers, held in the vibrant Carta Fabriano showroom, and a visit to the production departments of the historic paper mill. Here, master papermakers unveiled the secrets of artisanal manufacturing, from watermarking to the handmade papermaking, offering a unique experience that celebrates tradition and innovation.
This event not only highlights the importance of paper as a universal material but also confirms the central role of the Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano in artisanal excellence and the promotion of craftsmanship.
