Antonio Canova, celebrated all over the world for his neoclassical sculptures, was a Fabriano customer. He used our paper for various engravings and drawings, one of which is entitled “Female figure lifting her skirt”, and is a light pencil sketch on Fabriano ivory paper, conserved in the Drawings and Prints Archive of the Bassano del Grappa Museum Library.
