Capital letters are recognisable shapes, but these can be altered. Experimenting with a felt-tipped brush marker allows very different compositions to be created just by varying the shape of the letters, widening, lengthening or narrowing, allowing more expressive movements on the paper. This is the perfect exercise for students who are new to brush markers and don’t want to miss out on the fun of creating bold compositions.
